9.33

सौषुप्ते हि तत्त्वावेशवशाद् एव चित्रस्य स्वप्नस्य उदयः स्यात् गृहीतधराभिमानस् तु धरासकलः

Transliteration (IAST)

sauṣupte hi tattvāveśavaśād eva citrasya svapnasya udayaḥ syāt gṛhītadharābhimānas tu dharāsakalaḥ

— in deep sleep ; — precisely by the force of absorption into a tattva ; — the arising of a variegated dream ; — would occur ; — but one who has taken on the self-identification with earth ; — the Sakala of earth

For in deep sleep, precisely by the force of absorption into a tattva, the arising of a variegated dream would occur; but one who has taken on self-identification with earth is the Sakala of earth.
