9.17

तावत्य् उद्रिक्तरागादिकञ्चुकस्य सकलस्य प्रमातृत्वात् सकलस्यापि एवं पाञ्चदश्यं तस्यापि तावद् वेद्यत्वात्

Transliteration (IAST)

tāvaty udriktarāgādikañcukasya sakalasya pramātṛtvāt sakalasyāpi evaṃ pāñcadaśyaṃ tasyāpi tāvad vedyatvāt

— in that measure (up to that limit) ; — in whom the sheaths of attachment etc. are heightened ; — of the Sakala ; — because of its being a perceiver ; — thus the Sakala too has the fifteenfold character ; — because it too is knowable to that extent

Since within that limit the perceiver is the Sakala, in whom the sheaths of attachment and the rest are heightened, the Sakala too has this fifteenfold character, for it too is knowable to that extent.
