न द्रव्यव्यतिरिक्तास्ति क्रिया नच न विद्यते ।
न तयापि विना कार्यं किंचनापि हि जायते ॥१५॥
na dravyavyatiriktāsti kriyā naca na vidyate |
na tayāpi vinā kāryaṃ kiṃcanāpi hi jāyate
— not different from the substance; — is; — action; — and yet it is not non-existent; — nor without it; — an effect; — anything at all; — indeed; — arises
Action is not different from the substance, and yet it is not non-existent; and without it, indeed, no effect whatsoever arises.
