6.83

अप्रत्यक्षोऽक्षसम्बन्धो दूरस्थः शक्तिरूह्यते । तस्मान्न ज्ञानशून्यत्वं न शून्यं चोपपद्यते ॥८३॥

apratyakṣo'kṣasambandho dūrasthaḥ śaktirūhyate | tasmānna jñānaśūnyatvaṃ na śūnyaṃ copapadyate

— imperceptible ; — the connection with the sense ; — standing afar ; — the power ; — is inferred ; — therefore ; — there is no voidness-of-knowledge ; — no void ; — is tenable

The connection (of a thing) with the sense, (though) imperceptible (and) standing afar, (its) power is inferred; therefore there is no voidness-of-knowledge, and no (doctrine of the) void is tenable.
