विकल्पा अथवा नश्येदसावेतावदेव सत् । तत्रापि किंचित्कुर्वन्किं स नश्यति तथाविधाः ॥६३॥
vikalpā athavā naśyedasāvetāvadeva sat | tatrāpi kiṃcitkurvankiṃ sa naśyati tathāvidhāḥ
— the (foregoing) alternatives ; — or else ; — might perish ; — this (destruction itself) ; — being just so much (an entity) ; — there too ; — doing something ; — is it? ; — does it perish ; — the same (alternatives)

Or else (consider) the (foregoing) alternatives (applied to destruction itself): this (destruction), being itself just so much (of an entity), might (in turn) perish; and there too (we ask) does it perish while doing something? — the same (untenable) alternatives (arise once more).
