अन्यत्वेऽन्यसमुत्पत्तौ घटस्यायातमत्र किम् ।
आत्मना परतो वापि विनाशेऽत्रापि तादृशाः ॥६२॥
anyatve'nyasamutpattau ghaṭasyāyātamatra kim |
ātmanā parato vāpi vināśe'trāpi tādṛśāḥ
And if (the destruction be) different — (then) in the arising of (some mere) other, what has befallen the pot (which remains)? And as to (the pot's) destruction, whether of itself or by another — here too the same (untenable) alternatives (recur).
