यत्सत्तत्क्षणिकत्वेऽपि सत्त्वमप्यक्षगोचरं । सादृश्याद्भ्रान्तमक्षं चेददुष्टं प्राग्ग्रहे यथा ॥५५॥
yatsattatkṣaṇikatve'pi sattvamapyakṣagocaraṃ | sādṛśyādbhrāntamakṣaṃ cedaduṣṭaṃ prāggrahe yathā
— whatever is existent ; — that, even on (the thesis of) momentariness ; — existence too ; — is within the range of the senses ; — from (mere) similarity ; — deluded ; — the sense ; — if (you say) ; — unimpaired ; — in the prior grasping ; — just as

(They argue) 'whatever exists is momentary'; (yet) even on (their) momentariness, existence too is within the range of the senses (which apprehend persistence). If (you say) the sense is deluded by mere similarity — (it was) unimpaired in the prior grasping just (the same).
