6.102
सर्वेषां सर्वदेहस्था संवित्केन निवार्यते । कर्मणामानुरूप्याच्चेत् संविद्बाधा न कर्मभिः ॥१०२॥
sarveṣāṃ sarvadehasthā saṃvitkena nivāryate | karmaṇāmānurūpyāccet saṃvidbādhā na karmabhiḥ
— of all ; — abiding in all bodies ; — awareness ; — by what ; — is excluded? ; — of (their) deeds ; — in accordance (with which they are limited) ; — if (you say) ; — an annulment of awareness ; — not by deeds

By what is the awareness, abiding in all bodies, of all (selves), excluded (from any)? If (you say) in accordance with (their respective) deeds — (we reply) there is no (real) annulment of awareness by deeds (— deeds at most veil, they do not abolish).
