तथोत्पत्तौ क्षणानन्त्यमीश्वरेच्छावशादथ ।
क्षण एको नचैवं तच्चेश्वरेच्छाविरोधकृत् ॥९६॥
tathotpattau kṣaṇānantyamīśvarecchāvaśādatha |
kṣaṇa eko nacaivaṃ tacceśvarecchāvirodhakṛt
Likewise in arising (there would be) an infinity of moments; (but) by the power of the Lord's will (it need not be so) — (for) a single moment (could equally be willed); and (the momentarist's) view, (positing necessary perishing,) is what contradicts the Lord's free will.
