कार्यस्य नाशे तत्कार्यकार्ये तत्कार्यनाशिता । क्षणलक्षाणि जायन्ते क्रमात्तत्तद्विनाशतः ॥९५॥
kāryasya nāśe tatkāryakārye tatkāryanāśitā | kṣaṇalakṣāṇi jāyante kramāttattadvināśataḥ
— upon the destruction of an effect ; — with respect to the effect of that effect ; — the destruction of that effect ; — hundreds of thousands of moments ; — arise ; — in succession ; — through the destruction of this and that

(On the momentarist's view,) upon the destruction of an effect (follows) the destruction of that effect's (own) effect; (so) hundreds of thousands of moments arise in succession through the destruction of this and that (— an account we now contest).
