अनुमानं न चास्तीति पक्षादिर्नोपयुज्यते ।
गोपालघटिकान्यैश्च घटिता न ह्यसम्भवात् ॥६७॥
anumānaṃ na cāstīti pakṣādirnopayujyate |
gopālaghaṭikānyaiśca ghaṭitā na hyasambhavāt
Thus (valid) inference does not exist (as the realists conceive it); (so) the thesis-locus and the rest are of no use; and the apparatus (of inference) constructed by 'cowherd's water-clock' and other (such crude analogies) does not (hold) — for it is impossible (to ground it without consciousness).
