5.64

न चापि स्थिरभावानां क्वाप्यस्ति व्यभिचारिता । सूर्यः प्रकाशकः क्वापि काले देशेऽन्यथा भवेत् ॥६४॥

na cāpi sthirabhāvānāṃ kvāpyasti vyabhicāritā | sūryaḥ prakāśakaḥ kvāpi kāle deśe'nyathā bhavet

— nor even ; — of stable things ; — anywhere ; — is there ; — deviation, exception ; — the sun ; — the illuminator ; — at any ; — time or place ; — would (it ever) be otherwise?

Nor is there anywhere any deviation in the case of stable things: would the sun, the illuminator, ever be otherwise at any time or place? (Permanent natures admit no exception, which inference of fleeting marks cannot match.)
