बाह्यावयवतद्योगात्तदन्तरवियोगतः ।
पटो गृहीतः सकल इति न स्यात् प्रमा क्वचित् ॥४१॥
bāhyāvayavatadyogāttadantaraviyogataḥ |
paṭo gṛhītaḥ sakala iti na syāt pramā kvacit
From connection with its outer parts, and disconnection from its inner (parts), the valid cognition 'the cloth is grasped whole' could never (arise on the realist's premises; only consciousness apprehends the whole).
