बाह्यावयवतद्योगात्तदन्तरवियोगतः । पटो गृहीतः सकल इति न स्यात् प्रमा क्वचित् ॥४१॥
bāhyāvayavatadyogāttadantaraviyogataḥ | paṭo gṛhītaḥ sakala iti na syāt pramā kvacit
— from connection with that (and its) outer parts ; — from disconnection from its inner (parts) ; — the cloth ; — is grasped ; — whole, entire ; — that ; — there could not be ; — valid cognition ; — ever

From connection with its outer parts, and disconnection from its inner (parts), the valid cognition 'the cloth is grasped whole' could never (arise on the realist's premises; only consciousness apprehends the whole).
