5.34
प्रतिबिम्बेष्वसत्यत्वादमूर्तेष्वेष्वगोचरात् । तस्माद्घटः स्वमात्मानमवगच्छन्नवस्थितः ॥३४॥
pratibimbeṣvasatyatvādamūrteṣveṣvagocarāt | tasmādghaṭaḥ svamātmānamavagacchannavasthitaḥ
— in (the case of) reflections ; — because of (their) unreality ; — in the incorporeal (selves) ; — in these ; — because (they are) not their field ; — therefore ; — the pot ; — its own self ; — cognizing ; — abides

(There is no coherence,) because reflections are unreal, and because in the incorporeal (self) these (corporeal things) are not its field. Therefore the pot abides cognizing its own self (— it is itself a locus of consciousness).
