5.29
तथाकारगुणत्वान्न द्रव्याच्च चलनं पृथक् । शक्तेर्नचापि तज्ज्ञानं येन सा तन्निवेदयेत् ॥२९॥
tathākāraguṇatvānna dravyācca calanaṃ pṛthak | śakternacāpi tajjñānaṃ yena sā tannivedayet
— because (the power) is a quality of that shape ; — not ; — from the substance ; — and ; — movement ; — apart ; — of the power ; — nor even ; — cognition of that (object) ; — by which ; — it (the power) ; — could report it

Since (the visual power) is (held to be) a quality of that (corporeal) shape, no movement of it apart from the substance (is possible); nor does the power have any cognition of that (object), by which it could report it (back to the self).
