अन्तर्विंशति चेच्छक्तिरन्तरप्युपलम्भनम् ।
अप्रवेशान्न मनसः सम्बन्ध उपपद्यते ॥३०॥
antarviṃśati cecchaktirantarapyupalambhanam |
apraveśānna manasaḥ sambandha upapadyate
If (you say) the power enters within (the object) — then apprehension would have to occur within (the object too, which is absurd); and because the mind does not enter (the object), no connection of the mind (with it) is tenable (— consciousness alone bridges them).
