कर्तृत्वमुपचाराच्चेत् क्रियाया अप्यसत्यता । प्रयोज्यत्वमथोच्येत प्रवृत्तं हि प्रवर्तते ॥१५॥
kartṛtvamupacārāccet kriyāyā apyasatyatā | prayojyatvamathocyeta pravṛttaṃ hi pravartate
— agency ; — by figurative usage ; — if (you say) ; — of the action too ; — unreality ; — being made to act (by another) ; — or ; — might be said ; — what has (already) set out to act ; — for ; — engages in activity

If (you say its) agency is (ascribed only) figuratively — then the action too (would be) unreal. Or if it be said (the pot) is (only) made to act (by another) — (yet) what (already) has set out to act is what engages in activity (so it must itself be an agent that knows).
