तस्मादेवंविधेऽर्थेऽपि युक्तता स्यादिहैक्यतः । तथात्मेच्छावशान्नाक्षग्रामे चेष्टोपपद्यते ॥९९॥
tasmādevaṃvidhe'rthe'pi yuktatā syādihaikyataḥ | tathātmecchāvaśānnākṣagrāme ceṣṭopapadyate
— therefore ; — even in a matter of this kind ; — coherence ; — would obtain ; — here ; — through unity ; — likewise ; — by force of the self's own will ; — not (otherwise) ; — in the assemblage of sense-organs ; — activity ; — is tenable

Therefore even in a matter of this kind, coherence would obtain here only through unity; and likewise, except by force of the Self's own will, no concerted activity in the assemblage of sense-organs is tenable.
