शब्देन चेत्तदेवं हि सर्वसंसारनाशता । असत्यव्यवहारेण तादृगेव जगद्भवेत् ॥७४॥
śabdena cettadevaṃ hi sarvasaṃsāranāśatā | asatyavyavahāreṇa tādṛgeva jagadbhavet
— by the word (alone) ; — if (you say usage proceeds) ; — then thus indeed ; — the annihilation of all transmigratory existence ; — by an unreal usage ; — just such ; — the world ; — would become

If (you say) usage proceeds by the word (alone, divorced from real objects), then indeed all transmigratory existence would be annulled; (for) through an unreal usage the world too would become just such (an unreality — an unwanted consequence).
