तत्त्वस्यैक्यं विना न स्यादेकस्यैव विरुद्धता ।
सामान्येन विशेषेण कथमेकस्य योगिता ॥७०॥
tattvasyaikyaṃ vinā na syādekasyaiva viruddhatā |
sāmānyena viśeṣeṇa kathamekasya yogitā
Without the unity of the (one) reality there could be no holding of contraries in one and the same (thing); (otherwise) how could one (entity) be conjoined with both the universal and the particular (at once)?
