यथा सतः क्रियाव्यक्तिर्व्यक्तेः सत्त्वे तथा कृतिः ।
एकेनापरतुल्यत्वान्नच वाऽसत उद्भवः ॥४३॥
yathā sataḥ kriyāvyaktirvyakteḥ sattve tathā kṛtiḥ |
ekenāparatulyatvānnaca vā'sata udbhavaḥ
(Reply:) Just as the manifesting of the existent is (called) an action, so too, given the (sheer) existence of the manifestation (itself), a making (of it would be needed) — (which yields regress); because on this one point (the self-luminous) is unlike anything else; and the non-existent, moreover, has no arising at all.
