घटान्तरं पूर्वदृष्टमाकलययाथ चेष्टनम् ॥४४॥
ghaṭāntaraṃ pūrvadṛṣṭamākalayayātha ceṣṭanam
— another pot ; — previously seen ; — having brought to mind ; — then ; — the striving (of the potter)

Having brought to mind another, previously-seen pot, (the potter) then sets to work — (so the effect is in some sense already present to consciousness before its production).
