4.119
यादृग्दृष्टं दृष्टता स्यादथवा ज्ञानमेव तत् । दृष्टस्मरणयोरैक्ये स्थिते तदुपपद्यते ॥११९॥
yādṛgdṛṣṭaṃ dṛṣṭatā syādathavā jñānameva tat | dṛṣṭasmaraṇayoraikye sthite tadupapadyate
— of whatever kind a thing was seen ; — the (recalled) seen-ness ; — would be ; — or ; — just (a present) knowledge ; — that ; — of the seeing and the remembering ; — in (their) unity ; — being established ; — that is accounted for

(In memory) it would be (the same) seen-ness, of whatever kind the thing was (once) seen — or else it is just a present knowing; (either way) only when the unity of the seeing and the remembering is established is that (memory) accounted for.
