मनसा किं किमक्षेण तेन चेत्तत्परम्परा ।
एवं तदन्धपारम्पर्यत्वरूपमिदं स्फुटम् ॥११५॥
manasā kiṃ kimakṣeṇa tena cettatparamparā |
evaṃ tadandhapāramparyatvarūpamidaṃ sphuṭam
What need of the mind, what need of a sense-organ? If (cognition arose) through it (alone), an endless chain of such (instruments would follow); thus this (opponent's view) plainly takes the form of a succession of the blind (leading the blind, while consciousness alone does the seeing).
