संस्करोति तदात्मानममूर्ते संस्कृतिः कथम् । तद्रूपमात्मन्येतद्येनाश्लेषो यदि चोच्यते ॥११३॥
saṃskaroti tadātmānamamūrte saṃskṛtiḥ katham | tadrūpamātmanyetadyenāśleṣo yadi cocyate
— conditions, refines ; — that self ; — in the incorporeal ; — conditioning ; — how (possible)? ; — that form ; — in the self ; — this ; — by which ; — contact, adhesion ; — and if it be said

(If you say the object) conditions that self — (yet) how can there be a conditioning in the incorporeal? And if it be said that this (object's) form is (impressed) in the self, by which there is a contact (between them) — (this too is untenable for the partless self).
