4.106
शाशक्या मूर्तरूपत्वाद्रूपं चेन्न कथं गुणः । गुणिनो नीयतेऽन्यत्र तृषार्तैश्चाकृतिं प्रति? ॥१०६॥
śāśakyā mūrtarūpatvādrūpaṃ cenna kathaṃ guṇaḥ | guṇino nīyate'nyatra tṛṣārtaiścākṛtiṃ prati?
— capable (of being grasped) ; — because of having a corporeal form ; — form (color) ; — if (you say) ; — not ; — how ; — a quality ; — from its substrate ; — is carried ; — elsewhere ; — by those tormented with thirst ; — toward (a mere) appearance

If (you say) form (color) can be grasped because it has corporeal nature — (then) how (could) a quality be carried away from its substrate to another place (as it seems to be) by those tormented with thirst (in a mirage) toward a mere appearance?
