The Vision of Śiva3.44

3.44
अभग्ने स्वस्य रूपत्वे शुद्धन्यूनादिकं कुतः । पतद्ग्रहादिके हेम्नि हेमत्वं मुकुटादिके ॥४४॥
abhagne svasya rūpatve śuddhanyūnādikaṃ kutaḥ | patadgrahādike hemni hematvaṃ mukuṭādike
— when unbroken ; — one's own ; — nature ; — purity, deficiency, and the rest ; — whence ; — in a spittoon and the like ; — in the gold ; — goldness ; — in a crown and the like

When one's own nature is unbroken, whence (could there be) purity, deficiency, and the rest? In the gold of a spittoon, goldness (is the same) as in a crown and the like.
