स्थिता सा न पुनः सत्या वाचो वायुगमात्मनः ।
इष्यते ब्रह्मरूपत्वं घटादेरपि कथ्यताम् ॥८७॥
sthitā sā na punaḥ satyā vāco vāyugamātmanaḥ |
iṣyate brahmarūpatvaṃ ghaṭāderapi kathyatām
She (Paśyantī) is (thus) established, but not as the ultimate reality; (and if) Brahman-hood is conceded to speech, whose nature is (mere) movement of breath, then let it be conceded to the pot and the rest as well.
