यथा सर्वपदार्थानां भगवच्छिवरूपता । तद्वद्वागिन्द्रियस्यापि न पुनः सा परा दशा ॥८८॥
yathā sarvapadārthānāṃ bhagavacchivarūpatā | tadvadvāgindriyasyāpi na punaḥ sā parā daśā
— just as ; — of all entities ; — the nature of the Blessed Śiva ; — so too ; — of the speech-faculty too ; — but not ; — that ; — the supreme state

Just as all entities have the nature of the Blessed Śiva, so too does the speech-faculty — but it is not on that account the supreme state (in any special sense).
