अथ नाम्नैव पश्यन्ती स्फुटमेव जडा ततः । ज्ञानशक्तिः स्मृता भङ्ग्या स्त्रीलिङ्गव्यपदेशतः ॥८०॥
atha nāmnaiva paśyantī sphuṭameva jaḍā tataḥ | jñānaśaktiḥ smṛtā bhaṅgyā strīliṅgavyapadeśataḥ
— further ; — by name alone ; — Paśyantī ; — quite evidently ; — insentient ; — therefore ; — the power of knowledge ; — is (merely) designated ; — by a turn of phrase ; — by the designation in the feminine gender

Further, by her very name 'Paśyantī' she is quite evidently insentient; she is called 'the power of knowledge' only by a turn of phrase, through being designated in the feminine gender.
