2.52
अथात्मना सा स्वात्मानं पश्यन्ती निर्विभागशः । भागे करणरूपत्वात्पारतन्त्र्यं जडात्मता ॥५२॥
athātmanā sā svātmānaṃ paśyantī nirvibhāgaśaḥ | bhāge karaṇarūpatvātpāratantryaṃ jaḍātmatā
— now (if) ; — by herself ; — she ; — her own self ; — seeing ; — without any division ; — in (her) part (as seer) ; — because of being of the nature of an instrument ; — dependence ; — an insentient nature

Now if she, seeing her own self by her own self without any division — (then) in (her) aspect (as the instrument of seeing), because of being of the nature of an instrument, (there would follow) dependence and an insentient nature.
