सत्या वा स्यादसत्या वा न मध्यायाः समन्वयः ।
विद्या न भवतीत्येवं तत्तल्या काचिदापतेत् ॥३४॥
satyā vā syādasatyā vā na madhyāyāḥ samanvayaḥ |
vidyā na bhavatītyevaṃ tattalyā kācidāpatet
It must be either real or unreal; there is no coherent middle status for (Paśyantī). (And if you say) 'there is no (real) knowledge here at all,' then some difficulty equivalent to that (very objection) would ensue (against your own position).
