एवं भेदात्मकं नित्यं शिवतत्त्वमनन्तकम् । तथा तस्य व्यवस्थानान्नानारूपेऽपि सत्यता ॥४९॥
evaṃ bhedātmakaṃ nityaṃ śivatattvamanantakam | tathā tasya vyavasthānānnānārūpe'pi satyatā
— thus ; — consisting of differentiation ; — eternal ; — the Śiva-principle ; — endless ; — and so ; — its ; — because of (its) settled abiding ; — in the manifold-formed (world) ; — even ; — reality

Thus the Śiva-principle, though consisting of differentiation, is eternal and endless; and because of its settled abiding (in all), there is reality even in the manifold-formed (world).
