सुखादिषु च सौख्यादिहेतुष्व् अपि च वस्तुषु
अवभासस्य सद्भावे ऽप्य् अतीतत्वात् तथा स्थितिः ॥३॥
sukhādiṣu ca saukhyādihetuṣv api ca vastuṣu
avabhāsasya sadbhāve 'py atītatvāt tathā sthitiḥ
— with respect to pleasures and the like; — and; — with respect to the causes of pleasure and the like; — and also; — with respect to the (real) things; — of the appearance; — even when (its) existence is present; — even; — because of (their) being past; — thus, in that (past) form; — their status, their abiding
And with respect to pleasures and the like, to the causes of pleasure and the like, and also to (real) things — even when their appearance is present (in memory) — because they are past, their status is just that (of the past).
