क्रियाप्य् अर्थस्य कायादेस् तत्तद्देशादिजातता
नान्यादृष्टेर् न साप्य् एका क्रमिकैकस्य चोचिता ॥९॥
kriyāpy arthasya kāyādes tattaddeśādijātatā
nānyādṛṣṭer na sāpy ekā kramikaikasya cocitā
— action; — also; — of an object; — such as a body and the like; — the coming-to-be in this or that place and the rest; — not; — other (than that arising); — because it is (not) perceived; — nor; — it (action); — even; — one (single, unitary); — successive, sequential; — for a single (object); — and; — appropriate, fitting
Action too — of an object such as a body — is nothing but its coming-to-be in this or that place and so on; for nothing else is perceived. Nor is that action itself a single unitary thing, since a successive (process) is not fitting for one single (object).
