tatra tatra sthite tat tad bhavatīty eva dṛśyate
nānyan nānyo 'sti saṃbandhaḥ kāryakāraṇabhāvataḥ
— in this and that (state); — when (something) is present; — this and that; — comes to be; — thus (quotative); — only, simply; — is observed; — nothing else (is seen); — there is no other; — there is; — connection, relation; — than the relation of effect and cause
It is simply observed that, when this or that is present, this or that comes to be — nothing more is seen; and there is no connection other than the (mere) relation of cause and effect.
