अत्रापरत्वम् भावानाम् अनात्मत्वेन भासनात्
परताहन्तयाच्छादात् परापरदशा हि सा ॥५॥
atrāparatvam bhāvānām anātmatvena bhāsanāt
paratāhantayācchādāt parāparadaśā hi sā
— here (at this level); — the lower (status); — of the entities; — as not being the Self; — because of (their) appearing; — the higher (status); — by (their) I-ness (their being grasped as 'I'); — because of (its) overlaying / pervading; — the higher-and-lower phase; — indeed; — it (Sadvidyā)
Here the lower status (belongs) to the entities, because they appear as not-self; the higher status, because (it) is overlaid by their I-ness; thus that (Sadvidyā) is indeed the higher-and-lower phase.
