The Essence of the Tantra8.19

8.19

Transliteration (IAST)

tatra loliko 'pūrṇam anyatārūpaḥ parispandaḥ akarmakam abhilāṣamātram eva bhaviṣyad avacchedayogyateti na malaḥ puṃsas tattvāntaram

— the craving, the longing ; — the incomplete (state) ; — having the form of otherness (sense of difference) ; — a stirring, a vibration ; — mere desire ; — the fitness to be delimited (in future) ; — the impurity (mala) ; — a separate principle

Therein the craving is an incomplete state, a stirring having the form of otherness; it is objectless, mere desire, a fitness to be delimited in the future. Thus the impurity (mala) is not a separate principle apart from the soul.
