रागतत्त्वं तु कर्मावच्छिन्नो ऽभिलाषः

Transliteration (IAST)

rāgatattvaṃ tu karmāvacchinno 'bhilāṣaḥ

— the principle of Attachment (rāga) ; — delimited by a (particular) object ; — desire, longing

The principle of Attachment (rāga), by contrast, is desire delimited by a particular object.
