8.21

कर्म तु तत्र कर्ममात्रं बुद्धिधर्मस् तु रागः कर्मभेदचित्र इति विभागो वक्ष्यते

Transliteration (IAST)

karma tu tatra karmamātraṃ buddhidharmas tu rāgaḥ karmabhedacitra iti vibhāgo vakṣyate

— the object (here, the thing toward which desire is directed) ; — a mere object ; — a property of the intellect ; — variegated by the diversity of its objects ; — the distinction ; — will be stated

The object there is a mere object; whereas Attachment, variegated by the diversity of its objects, is a property of the intellect. This distinction will be stated (later).
