अन्वर्थं चैतन् नाम रुद्रशक्तिमालाभिर् युक्ता फलेषु पुष्पिता संसारशिशिरसंहारनादभ्रमरी सिद्धिमोक्षधारिणी दानादानशक्तियुक्ता इति रलयोर् एकत्वस्मृतेः

Transliteration (IAST)

anvarthaṃ caitan nāma rudraśaktimālābhir yuktā phaleṣu puṣpitā saṃsāraśiśirasaṃhāranādabhramarī siddhimokṣadhāriṇī dānādānaśaktiyuktā iti ralayor ekatvasmṛteḥ

— significant (etymologically apt) ; — with the garlands of the Rudra-powers ; — blossomed (laden) with fruits ; — the bee whose hum destroys the cold of transmigration ; — bearing both yogic powers and liberation ; — endowed with the power of bestowing and withholding ; — because of the recorded equivalence of r and l

And this name is significant: she is entwined with the garlands (mālā) of the Rudra-powers, laden with blossom upon her fruits, the bee whose humming destroys the cold of transmigration, bearing both yogic attainments and liberation, endowed with the power of bestowing and of withholding — since r and l are recorded as equivalent (so that mālinī also reads as the bestower-and-withholder).
