व्याप्तं किञ्चिद्रिपोर्देहं मदीयं संहराम्यहम् ।
जडरूपो भवामीति चिन्तया मरणं स्थितम् ॥७४॥
vyāptaṃ kiñcidripordehaṃ madīyaṃ saṃharāmyaham |
jaḍarūpo bhavāmīti cintayā maraṇaṃ sthitam
(With the thought) 'I withdraw the enemy's body — pervaded (by me) and (so) mine — I become (in it) of insentient form,' by such contemplation (his) death is brought about (the rite of slaying).
