नैतच्छास्त्रं विना प्रोक्तं कायाकारेण कायिकम् ।
जलेन जलरूपं स्यादित्याद्यैर्वचनैः स्मृतम् ॥६९॥
naitacchāstraṃ vinā proktaṃ kāyākāreṇa kāyikam |
jalena jalarūpaṃ syādityādyairvacanaiḥ smṛtam
This is not declared without scriptural warrant: that what pertains to the body (is mastered) by (assuming) bodily form, that by (identifying with) water one would become of the form of water — by sayings such as these it is recorded in tradition.
