7.5

सकृज्ज्ञाते सुवर्णे हि भावना करणं व्रजेत् । एकवारं प्रमाणेन शास्त्राद्वा गुरुवाक्यतः ॥५॥

sakṛjjñāte suvarṇe hi bhāvanā karaṇaṃ vrajet | ekavāraṃ pramāṇena śāstrādvā guruvākyataḥ

— once it is known ; — in (the case of) gold ; — indeed ; — (further) meditative cultivation ; — an (effective) instrument ; — would it become? ; — a single time ; — by a means of knowledge ; — or from scripture ; — from the word of a teacher

When gold has once been known — (whether) a single time by a means of valid knowledge, or from scripture, or from a teacher's word — would (any further) meditative cultivation (be needed to) serve as an instrument (— so likewise with Śiva-nature)?
