अमूर्तत्वाद्यदि भवेदमूर्तत्वेऽपि वस्तुता । वस्तुत्वे संस्कारोत्येव नानासत्तानुयोगतः ॥९८॥
amūrtatvādyadi bhavedamūrtatve'pi vastutā | vastutve saṃskārotyeva nānāsattānuyogataḥ
— through incorporeality ; — if it be (possible) ; — even in the incorporeal ; — thing-hood ; — if there be thing-hood ; — it does occupy / impress ; — by connection with a plurality of existents

If (their coexistence) be (possible) through incorporeality — (yet) even in the incorporeal there is thing-hood; and if there be thing-hood, it does (require its own place), by connection with a plurality of existents (so the objection presses on the realist).
