सर्वस्य सर्वभावत्वादिहासौ नोपपद्यते । चर्मोपमश्चेदित्यादि यद्बौद्धैः समुदाहृतम् ॥८७॥
sarvasya sarvabhāvatvādihāsau nopapadyate | carmopamaścedityādi yadbauddhaiḥ samudāhṛtam
— of everything ; — because of (its) being everything ; — here (for us) ; — this (exclusion) ; — is not (ultimately) tenable ; — 'like (a stretched) hide' ; — if ; — and so on ; — whatever ; — by the Buddhists ; — has been adduced

(Yet ultimately) since everything is (in truth) everything, this (exclusion) is not (finally) tenable here (for us either). And whatever the Buddhists have adduced — 'like a (stretched) hide,' and so on (— such metaphors are refuted by the following).
