अथ नश्वररूपत्वात्तद्रूपस्योद्भवः कथम् ।
उद्भवो नश्वरत्वं च द्वौ स्वभावौ कथं तथा ॥५०॥
atha naśvararūpatvāttadrūpasyodbhavaḥ katham |
udbhavo naśvaratvaṃ ca dvau svabhāvau kathaṃ tathā
Now if (you say a thing perishes) because of (its) intrinsically perishable nature — (then) how (does) that (very) perishable form (ever) arise? Arising and perishability — two (contrary) natures — how can they (coexist) thus (in one thing at one moment)?
