कामिनां कथमेतच्चेदुक्ता प्रागस्य सत्यता । ज्ञानस्य करणत्वेन कर्त्रपेक्षा प्रसज्यते ॥३४॥
kāmināṃ kathametacceduktā prāgasya satyatā | jñānasya karaṇatvena kartrapekṣā prasajyate
— of the love-deluded (a parallel case) ; — how is this? ; — if (you object) ; — has been stated ; — earlier ; — of this ; — reality ; — of cognition ; — by way of (its) being an instrument ; — dependence on an agent ; — results

If (you ask), as with the love-deluded, 'how is this (apprehension of the unreal possible)?' — the reality of this (object) has been stated earlier (by us). And (for them,) by taking cognition as an instrument, dependence on an agent results.
