वर्तते यदि तत्रान्यो न व्याप्तोऽसौ पुरापरैः । आकाशबुद्धिचित्तादेः कथमेकत्र चेत् स्थितिः ॥१००॥
vartate yadi tatrānyo na vyāpto'sau purāparaiḥ | ākāśabuddhicittādeḥ kathamekatra cet sthitiḥ
— abides ; — if ; — there ; — another ; — is not pervaded ; — this (place) ; — beforehand by others ; — of ether, intellect, mind and the like ; — how ; — in one place ; — if (objection) the coexistence

If another abides there, (then) this (place) is not (already) pervaded beforehand by others (so the realist's atoms cannot coexist). (And if you object:) how then (do) ether, intellect, mind and the like (severally) abide in one place (— we have an answer)?
