प्रतिभा च प्रमाणत्वे वर्ण्यमाना न शोभते ।
काकतालीयरूपत्वादश्वादेस्तरणादथ ॥७५॥
pratibhā ca pramāṇatve varṇyamānā na śobhate |
kākatālīyarūpatvādaśvādestaraṇādatha
— intuition (pratibhā); — and; — as a means of valid knowledge; — being propounded; — does not stand (does not hold up); — because of (its) being like the crow-and-palm-fruit (mere coincidence); — of a horse and the like; — from (its) crossing (a ford by chance); — moreover
And intuition (pratibhā), when propounded as a (separate) means of valid knowledge, does not hold up — because it is (mere) coincidence, like the crow-and-the-palm-fruit, as (when) a horse and the like crosses (a ford safely by chance).
